Larisa is a Romanian singer, songwriter and actress belonging to a new generation of young artists whose evolution should be watched. She discovered her passion not only for music, but for any kind of artistic act when she was just a child. From solos sung at school fests, church choir, or national festivals, LARISA has exploited each and every musical opportunity that she has come across.
When she was just 17 years old she joined the famous “The Voice of Romania” contest. During blind auditions she caught the attention of all four coaches with a reinterpretation of a Romanian rock hit, Ploaia, originally written and performed by the Cargo. In every round she surprised both the public and the jury with totally different approaches of many Romanian and international famous songs.
In 2017 she recorded two songs for VAMA’s latest record album, Better. She was the special guest of the band during their show at the Polyvalent Hall in Bucharest.
LARISA understood that for an artist, apart from having a wonderful voice, multilateral involvement in the artistic and the ability to create original songs artist are crucial. This was the motivation behind her “Backyard Sessions” online project, in which she weekly presented to the audience new music written by herself.
In the fall of 2018 LARISA is releasing her first single, Love Love.
